Prof. Dr. Markus Paulus

Dr. Markus Paulus is postdoctoral research and lecturer at the chair for developmental and educational psychology of the LMU Munich. He studies psychology, philosophy and sociology at the universities of Eichstätt und Oulu (Finland). From 2007 till 2011 he was a doctoral student at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour of the Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands), where he received his Ph.D. with a thesis on the neurocognitive mechanisms subserving action perception and imitation in early childhood.
During his stay as a researcher in residence at the Center for Advanced Studies he will examine the origins and the early development of prosocial behavior in human children.
