Prof. Dr. Dr. Ino Augsberg

Ino Augsberg is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Politics and Public Law at LMU Munich. He studied philosophy, art history, literature and law in Freiburg and Heidelberg, and completed these studies in 2001 with a dissertation on Martin Heidegger and in 2008 with a dissertation in legal theory. He is currently working on his habilitation treatise on the subject of the cognitive dimension of administrative decision-making and its legal governance. The work thus concerns the systematization of an "administrative law in the information society" as a reaction to transformed knowledge structures in society. This issue will also be the subject of his investigations during his time at the CAS.
