Steven D. Levitt is Professor of Economy at the University of Chicago.
His research focuses on such diverse topics as economic models of crime and corruption, the criminal justice system or the legalization of abortions. He is known to a wider audience as a co-author of the Freakonomics series.
Steven D. Levitt is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from May to June 2018 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Florian Englmaier in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Evidence Based Practice".
On 28 May 2018 he will give a lecture on "The Economic Approach to Learning from Data".
