Prof. Zsuzsa Gille, Ph.D.

Zsuzsa Gille is Professor of Sociology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Her academic interest concerns questions of spatial and environmental policy as well as the sociology of food in connection with processes of globalization. Her publications include "Global Ethnography: Forces, Connections and Imaginations in a Postmodern World" (2000) and "From the Cult of Waste to the Trash Heap of History: The Politics of Waste in Socialist and Postsocialist Hungary" (2007).

Zsuzsa Gille will be in Munich in August 2013 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Helmuth Trischler as part of the CAS research focus "Waste and Society".
