Prof. Lev Vaidman, Ph.D.

Previous Visiting Fellow

Lev Vaidman is Professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy of the Tel Aviv University.

He works on undamental problems in the foundations of quantum mechanics, quantum information, and quantum optics. He develops interpretations of quantum theory, searches for novel quantum effects, takes part in quantum optics experiments demonstrating peculiar features of quantum mechanics, and designs quantum devices for practical applications.

Lev Vaidman was a Visiting Fellow in January and February 2020 and from June to August 2020 upon invitation from Dr. Jasmin Meinecke (CAS Young Center).

On 5 February 2020 he gave a lecture on "The Many-Worlds Interpretation and the Born Rule". Further, he gave a lecture on "Experimental Demonstrations of Paradoxical Quantum Measurements" on 15 July 2020.
