Alison Thompson is Associate Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health of the University of Toronto.

Her research interests are public health ethics, emergency preparedness and Global Health Security, public understanding of science and public engagement, public understanding of risk and vaccination and professional ethics and pharmacy.

Alison Thompson is a Visiting Fellow in July 2020 upon invitation from PD Dr. Verina Wild in the context of the CAS research focus "Global Health".

On 16 July 2020 she will give a lecture on "Ethics and COVID-19: Outbreaks in the Age of the Internet".
