Dr. Mustafa Seckin

Mustafa Seckin is Neurologist in the Department of Behavioral Neurology and Movement Disorders at the Medical Faculty of the Istanbul University. His research goal is to uncover the cognitive mechanisms of language impairments in neurodegenerative aphasia for the purpose of guiding treatments. In his current project, he aims to use eye movements as probes of lexico-semantic associations for an on-line assessment of the dynamic search of stored semantic representations in patients with PPA. Mustafa Seckin is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from March to June 2018 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Adrian Danek.
