Prof. George Joseph, Ph.D.

George Joseph is Professor of Cardiology at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, South India.
He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of vascular and endovascular interventions. At Christian Medical College, Vellore, he developed a full-fledged cardiovascular interventional program. He performed over 5000 interventional procedures spanning coronary, endovascular, pediatric and valvuloplasty procedures, and published numerous papers and book chapters.
While at CAS, he is assisting Nikolaos Tsilimparis' group in developing a refined method for the treatment of the aortic arch by prosthetic replacement.
He is a Visiting Fellow from November to December 2021 upon inviation of Prof. Dr. Nikolaos Tsilimparis.
