Jeff Jennings is currently doing his Ph.D. at the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Cambridge in the group of Cathie Clarke.

He first studied astrophysics at the University of Colorado at Boulder before going to LMU for his master's degree. He also worked in research groups at the University of Washington and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Since 2018 he is doing his doctoral thesis in the group of Cathie Clarke at the University of Cambridge.

Jeff Jennings contributes to the work of the research group with a background in hydrodynamic modeling of protoplanet disks and observational diagnostics of these systems. His focus is on motivating the origins of observed, developed planetary systems by limiting the physical conditions in these disks.

Jeff Jennings is a Visiting Fellow at CAS October 2019 and is part of the CAS Research Group "The Ionisation Structure of Planet Forming Discs and their Atmospheres" of Prof. Dr. Barbara Ercolano. He will participate in the workshop "Planet Formation Witnesses and Probes: Transition Discs" on 18 and 19 November 2019.
