Statistics

Christina Goldschmidt is Professor of Probability at the Department of Statistics of the University of Oxford.

Her research interests are various aspects of the structure of random hypergraphs, with particular emphasis on the use of stochastic process methods. She has worked extensively on processes of coagulation (or coalescence) and fragmentation. More recently, she has been working on scaling limits for random trees and graphs.

Christina Goldschmidt is a Visiting Fellow in September 2019 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Markus Heydenreich. On 11 September 2019 she will give a lecture on "The Critical Random Transposition Random Walk" in the context of the workshop "Random Walks, Random Graphs and Random Media".
