Prof. Eshetu Girma Kidane, Ph.D.

Eshetu Girma Kidane is Associate Professor at the School of Public Health of the Addis Abeba Universiy in Ethiopia.

His research interests include health care, health promotion, health education, health behaviour, and preventive medicine.

Eshetu Girma Kidane is a Visiting Fellow in February 2020 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Matthias Siebeck in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Global Health" als Visiting Fellow am CAS.

On 18 February 2020 he will give a lecture on "Measuring Structural Stigma in Developing Countries: Lessons from OPAL Project". Together with PD Dr. Andrea Jobst, he is also the organizer of the workshop "Learning Mental Health Systems: New Approaches and Evidence from the OPAL Project" on 21 February 2020.
