Yamini Dalal Yamini Dalal is Researcher at the Laboratory of Gordon L. Hager (Receptor Biology and Gene Expression) of the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA.
Her lab is currently investigating whether histone complexes can adopt alternate structural conformations in cancer cells, and the functional consequences of such alterations upon the cancer epigenome.
Yamini Dalal is visiting CAS in May to August 2017 in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Biology of Genomes" following an invitation from Prof. Dr. Peter Becker. On 21 June 2017 she will give a lecture on "Twisting the Dragon's Tail: A Voyage into Uncharted Histone Territories".
