Marjorie Chan is Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Utah.

Her research interests are in clastic sedimentary geology, and multidisciplinary studies using aspects of facies, basin analysis, fluid flow, and modeling (with applications toward environmental and predictive problems).

Marjorie Chan is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in March and April 2018 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Anke Friedrich.

On 17 April 2018 she will give a lecture on "What Is Earth Without Life?" at the Department for Earth and Environmental Sciences.
