James Burton, PhD
James Burton is Senior Scientist and Director of the T. Douglas Price Laboratory for Archaeological Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
He works on the field of archaeometry since decades. His main interest is the development of new archaeometric methods, particularly the use of chemical and isotopic methods for provenience studies. He is especially interested in archaeological hard tissue relics of man and animals for whom he reconstructs environmental parameters, trophic chains, and mobility.
