Physics

Manuel Bautista is Professor in the Department of Physics at the Western Michigan University.

His main line of work is atomic and molecular processes in astrophysical plasmas, theoretical computational of atomic and molecular parameters, and photoionization modeling of plasmas. His expertise will complement Barbara Ercolano’s group in the study of atomic and molecular interactions with radiation in protoplanetary disks.

Manuel Bautista is member of the CAS Research Group "The Ionisation Structure of Planet Forming Discs and their Atmospheres" of Prof. Dr. Barbara Ercolano.
