Prof. Dr. Gerd Antes

Gerd Antes is a mathematician and methodologist at the University Hospital of Freiburg and honorary professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Freiburg. He was director of Cochrane Germany until October 2018.

He is the founding and board member of the German Network for Evidence-Based Medicine, as well as a member of several advisory boards and scientific advisory boards for the systematic use of evidence in medical research and health care.

Gerd Antes is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in November and December 2018 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Martin Fischer as part of the CAS Research Focus "Evidence-based Practice".
