Thomas Sturm is an ICREA Research Professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

His research centers on the relation between philosophy and psychology, including their history, and he is also interested in the philosophy of mind and cognitive science, as well as the relations between history and philosophy of science.

Thomas Sturm is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in July 2015 upon invitation from Dr. Catherine Herfeld (CAS Junior Researcher in Residence 2015) and acts as discussant in her Lunch Talk on "Unsettled Axioms, Flexible Concepts: How Rational Choice Theories Entered the Social Sciences in the Post War Era".
