Michael Strevens is Professor of Philosophy at the New York University.

His major research interests include philosophy of science (including complex systems, scientific explanation, probability, the social structure of science) as well as philosophical applications of cognitive science.

From April to May 2015 he is a visiting fellow at CAS following an invitation from is Professor of Philosophy at the New York University.
