Michael Stöltzner is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina.

His current research interests are causality and indeterminism in the early 20th century; the principle of least action in a philosophical perspective; ceteris paribus laws in applied science; epistemology of the Large Hadron Collider.

He is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from September to December 2014 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Stephan Hartmann.
