Elske Salemink is Assistant Professor at the Department of Developmental Psychology of the University of Amsterdam.

Dr. Salemink's research concerns the development of psychopathologies like anxiety and addictive disorders using experimental, genetic and psychophysiological methods. By understanding the neurocognitive process underlying various disorders, she is involved in developing more effective tools for the treatment and prevention of these disorders.

In April and October 2015 she is visiting CAS following the invitation from Prof. Dr. Gerd Schulte-Körne and Dr. Belinda Platt. She will give a talk on 21 April at 1 p.m. with the title "Implicit processes in Anxiety: Assessment and Modification" at the Klinik für Kinder- und Jugendpsychatrie, Psychosomatik und Psychotherapie.
