Prof. Dr. David T. Runia

David T. Runia is a Master of Queen's College at the University of Melbourne.
His research interests include Philo of Alexandria and Hellenistic Jewish thought, the tradition of Platonism, particularly the Platonism of the church fathers, as well as ancient philosophical doxography.
Prof. Dr. David T. Runia will be a guest in Munich in late June/early July 2010. He is working with Prof. Dr. Oliver Primavesi from the Chair of Greek Philology of the LMU on a common project on the topic of "Aëtiana: laying foundations for the study of the history of ancient philosophy". The project is being funded by the Australian Research Council for a period of four years.
