Prof. Dr. Marwan Rashed

Marwan Rashed is Professor of Greek and Arabic Philosophy at Paris-Sorbonne University.

He has published mainly on Greek Philosophy, from the Presocratics to late Antiquity, and on classical Arabic philosophy and theology. He is especially interested in natural philosophy and metaphysics. Marwan Rashed is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from October 2017 to July 2018.

He is part of the CAS Research Group "Editing Metaphysics" following an invitation from Prof. Dr. Oliver Primavesi.
