Giancarla Periti is Associate Professor of Italian Renaissance art at the University of Toronto.
Her research interests revolve around the arts of the Mediterranean Renaissance "periphery" and the dialogue between the sister arts in liminal zones.
Giancarla Periti is a Visiting Fellow in November and December 2021 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Ulrich Pfisterer. On 23 November 2021 she will give a lecture on "Artisanal Knowledge in Parma around 1500. Materials and Experimentation".
