Prof. Lara Ostaric, Ph.D.

Lara Ostaric is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont.

Lara Ostaric completed her Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame and has focused her attention on the philosophy of German idealism, in particular Kant and Schelling, as well as the European philosophy of the 20th century. She is currently working on the editing of an essay collection on the philosophy of F.W. Schelling, which is to be published in 2012 under the title "Interpreting Schelling: Critical Essays" by Cambridge University Press.

Professor Ostaric will be in residence at the CAS in June 2012 as a guest of Prof. Dr. Thomas Buchheim of the Faculty for Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and the Study of Religion of the LMU.
