Martha C. Nussbaum is Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago.

Professor Nussbaum is internationally renowned for her work in ancient philosophy, feminist philosophy, political philosophy and philosophy and the arts.

Martha C. Nussbaum is a Visiting Fellow in December 2018 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Monika Betzler, Prof. Dr. Oliver Primavesi and Prof. Dr. Christof Rapp.

On 18 December 2018 she will give a lecture on "Fear, Anger, and the Politics of Blame".
