Joaquín Navajas is Assistant Professor at the Business School at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where he is Director of the Neuroscience Lab. He is also Research Scientist at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) of Argentina.

Joaquín Navajas graduated in Physics at the University of Buenos Aires, and obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Leicester. He was research associate in the Crowd Cognition Group at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London.

His research is published in journals such as Nature Human Behaviour, Current Biology, Journal of Neuroscience, among others. In 2012, he received the ICT Pioneers award by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council in the United Kingdom.

Joaquín Navajas is member of the CAS Research Group "Persuading under Uncertainty: Challenges and Norms of Science Communication" of Prof. Dr. Ophelia Deroy and a Visiting Fellow at CAS from May to July 2022.
