Bella Merlin is Professor for Acting and Directing at the Department of Theatre, Film and Digital Production of the University of California.
As a professional actor, her work includes seasons at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the National Theatre with Max Stafford-Clark’s Out of Joint company, roles in theatres and television throughout the UK, and her one-person play, Tilly Nobody: Catastrophes of Love.
Bella Merlin is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in March and in December 2016 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. David Roesner am CAS. Together with Professor Roesner she organizes the symposium "Singing and acting the document" that will take place on 16th December at Theater HochX.
