Prof. Liv Ingeborg Lied, Ph.D.

Liv Ingeborg Lied is Professor for Religious Studies at the Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society of the MF Vitenskapelig Høyskole in Oslo.
Her current research interests span manuscript studies, New Philology and textual scholarship, as well as media history.
Liv Ingeborg Lied is a Visiting Fellow in October 2019 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Loren Stuckenbruck in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Textual Practices in the Pre-Modern World".
She will give a lecture on "Books Known Only by Title? Pre-modern Lists, Modern Quests for Lost Books and the Contemporary Rethinking of a Category" in the context of the workshop "Synopses and Lists. Textual Practices in the Pre-Modern World" from 7 to 11 October 2019.
