Dr. Susanne Lange

Susanne Lange is a freelance translator of literary texts into German. She mainly translates from Spanish and also from English.

She translated texts of Lorca, Rulfo, Cervantes and Luis Cernuda, among others, and received several awards for her translations. She also works as a consultant in the field of Spanish literature and advises book publishers.

Susanne Lange is a Visiting Fellow from May to July 2019 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Martin von Koppenfels. On 22 May 2019 she will hold a Lunch Talk together with Prof. Dr. Martin von Koppenfels on "Übersetzen von Form zu Form. Das Beispiel spanischsprachiger Lyrik".
