Nataliia Kovalchuk is Professor of History at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv and Director of the Artes Liberales Baccalaureate Program.

Her research focuses on the history of East Central Europe and the history of ideas, especially in the field of Pan Slavism and nationalism. "The History of Panslavism Revisited" is the research topic during her time at CAS.

Nataliia Kovalchuk is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in the context of the “researchers at risk”-program from March to July 2022. Her stay is supported by CAS member Prof. Dr. Kärin Nickelsen.
