Gábor Buzási is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Ancient Studies of the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.

His research interests are religion and philosophy in Late Antiquity (Neoplatonism), Biblical interpretation, Early Jewish and Christian thought and Jewish-Christian relations.

Gábor Buzási is a Visiting Fellow in January and February 2019 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Martin Wallraff in the context of the CAS research focus "Textual Practices in the Pre-Modern World".

On 16 January 2019 he will give a lecture on "'Unus et mediator Dei et hominum': The Neoplatonic Solar Theology of Julian the Apostate".
