Pieter Verstraete is Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Freie Universität Berlin and Assistant Professor at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
His expertise is in Theatre and Performance Studies, Sound and Audio Culture Studies, American/English Culture and Literature, Communication Studies and Film Criticism. He has widely published on intermedial aesthetic strategies of sound, voice and aurality in theatre and interactive installation art.
Pieter Verstraete is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in November 2022 and April 2023 at the invitation of Prof. Dr. David Roesner. He will join the CAS Research Group on "The Sound of Theatre".
