Random Walks, Random Graphs, and Random Media
The workshop focusses on recent developments in the mathematical theory of random motions in random media. It will also explore percolation and random graph theory. In the keynote lecture, Christina Goldschmidt will focus on the behaviour of the critical random transposition random walk and will shed light on the emergence of the Poisson-Dirichlet Distribution.
Participants among others: Ori Gurel-Gurevich (Jerusalem), Ron Peled (Tel Aviv), Anja Sturm (Göttingen).
Evening Lecture on 11 September at 6.30 p.m.:
