Klaus von Gaffron – "Illusion"
The illusion of any representation of reality lying within each picture reveals one's own wishful notion as a delusion. By means of abstraction, the motives of the photographed everyday objects are detached from their real existence. There is no realistic photo in von Gaffron’s work; there is only the reality of the picture with all its illusionistic and abstract coloration and composition.
Klaus von Gaffron studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He lives and works in Munich.
At the Vernissage on 10 April 2014 Dr. Wolf Dieter Enkelmann (Institut für Wirtschaftsgestaltung, München) will give the introduction.
