  • Sam Sanders, Ph.D.

    Sam Sanders studied Mathematics at the University of Ghent in Belgium. At CAS he will work on a research project entitled "Computability: A New Approach to Adriadne’s Thread in Mathematics and Linguistics". Around 1936, the mathematician Alan Turing introduced the first abstract notion of computability, which was subsequently generalised in scope. Sam Sanders studies the interaction of computability between mathematics and linguistics. more
