Prof. Paul Woodford, Ph.D.

Previous Visiting Fellow

Paul Woodford is Professor of Music Education at the University of Western Ontario.

He is one of the most highly renowned researchers in the field of philosophy, music education and political science, and focuses particularly on the connection between music, music lessons and politics and ideology.

Paul Woodford will be at the CAS in April 2012 as a visiting fellow. This is a result of an invitation to cooperate with Prof. Dr. Alexandra Kertz-Welzel of the Institute for Music Education in the Department of Arts at the LMU. On 8 May, he will give a lecture entitled "Music Education and Contemporary Politics in North America and Britain".
