Prof. Robert D. Cooter, Ph.D.

Robert Cooter is Professor of Economic Law and Co-director of the Berkeley Law Faculty.
His most important publications include the standard work "Law and Economics" (1999), which has been reprinted several times and translated into numerous languages. In addition to his activities as a university professor and author, Robert Cooter is co-editor of the journal "International Review of Law and Economics" and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Robert Cooter will be at the CAS as a Visiting Fellow in October and November 2011 as part of the research focus "Law as a Product" following an invitation from Prof. Dr. Horst Eidenmüller, and will give a lecture on 26 October 2011 on the topic of "The Measure of Law and Economics".
