David Cohen is a Professor at the Graduate School at UC Berkeley and at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai'i.
As an expert on ancient Greek law, David Cohen turned his attention in the 1990s to the subject of war crimes tribunals and international jurisdiction. He is the founder of the Berkeley War Crimes Studies Center and is known internationally through his work in the field of human rights enforcement, for example in the case of the prosecutions for war crimes in East Timor.
David Cohen will be at the CAS in June and July 2013 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Franz Guenthner.
