Prof. Dr. André Bächtiger

André Bächtiger is Professor at the Institute for Social Sciences of the University of Stuttgart.

His research interests are deliberative democraty, political communication, religion and politics as well as democratisation in Africa and Asia.

André Bächtiger is a Visiting Fellow from March to April 2017 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Christoph Knill (Senior Researcher in Residence).
