Prof. Yvonne Steinert, Ph.D.

Yvonne Steinert is a clinical psychologist, Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Centre for Medical Education at the McGill University.

Her educational interests relate to teaching and learning in medicine, the impact of faculty development on the individual and the organization, and the continuing professional development of faculty members.

Yvonne Steinert is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from June to July 2017 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Martin Fischer in the context of the CAS Research Focus "Evidence Based Practice". On 23 June she will give a lecture with the title "From Innovation to Scholarship: Making the Most of What We do in Medical Education" in the context of the Mini-Symposium "Scientific and clinical reasoning: A Garage-Symposium of the DAM".

Further, she will give a lecture in the context of the "DoktaMed" on 24 June as well as at the "Bayrischen Tag der Lehre in der Medizin" in Würzburg on 4 July. Yvonne Steinert also organizes the workshop "Faculty Development: Where do we want to go?” on 28 June.
