Arne Smeets is Researcher at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Leuven, Netherlands.
His research is concerned with topics including rational points on higher dimensional varieties. He is studying, for example, the Hasse Principle and weak approximation.
In March 2012, Arne Smeets will be at the CAS as a visiting fellow following an invitation from Ulrich Derenthal (CAS Senior Researcher in Residence 2011/12).
