Dr. Norbert Hoffmann

Norbert Hoffmann is Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Studies of the University of Limerick, Ireland.
His specialist research interests lie in the field of algebraic geometry. He is particularly concerned with module spaces of vector bundles over algebraic varieties.
Norbert Hoffmann will be at the CAS in May 2012 as a visiting fellow following an invitation from Prof. Ulrich Derenthal (CAS Senior Researcher in Residence 2011/12). During his stay, he will investigate torsors over del Pezzo surfaces in cooperation with Ulrich Derenthal.
