Edina Zsupán

Previous Visiting Fellow

Edina Zsupán is an academic staff member at the Hungarian National Library "István Széchényi" in Budapest.

Her specialist research areas are education history and book production in the European Renaissance. She is currently working on a project on the largely lost library of the Hungarian King Matthew I Corvinus.

Edina Zsupán will be at the CAS as a visiting fellow in October 2012 following an invitation from Dr. Dániel Kiss. During her stay, she will give a lecture entitled "Philosophia picta. On the Reception of Florentine Neoplatonism at the Court of King Matthew of Hungary (1458-1490)".
