Prof. David Wolff, Ph.D.

Previous Visiting Fellow

David Wolff is Professor of History and Asian Studies at the University Hokkaido in Sapporo.

He is specialized in Russian and Soviet history; Siberia and the Far East; the Cold War and the construction of the Northeast Asian Region.

David Wolff is a Visiting Fellow at CAS from April to May 2016 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Andreas Renner am CAS. On 21 April 2016 he will give a talk with the title "A Constructive Contribution to U.S.-Japanese Relations: John D. Rockefeller III, C. B. Fahs and the Remaking of Postwar Japanese Russian Studies".
