Daniel T. Rodgers is the Henry Charles Lea Professor of History at Princeton University.

He is one of the leading scholars in the history of American cultural and political thought. His study "Age of Fractures", recently published by Harvard University Press, provides a comprehensive analysis of those social debates and ideas which fundamentally altered the USA in the last quarter of the 20th century.

Daniel T. Rodgers will be a visiting fellow in Munich in June 2011. As part of the CAS research focus "Transatlantic Cultures", Professor Rodgers will lead the conference "Writing Post-1970 History: Conceptualizing the Late Twentieth Century in German and American Historiography" along with Dr. Ariane Leendertz.
