Ludmila Isurin is Associate Professor of Linguistics at the Ohio State University.

Her areas of expertise are Psycholinguistics and bilingualism (memory, lexical access), first language attrition, second language acquisition, effects of the second language on the first (transfer), immigration and identity, collective memory and immigration and code-switching.

From May to June 2014 and May to June 2018 she is a Visiting Fellow at CAS following the invitation from Prof. Dr. Claudia Maria Riehl.

On 16 May 2018 she will give a lecture on "First language attrition in bilingual immigrants: Attitude, identity, and emotion".
