Tracy C. Davis is Professor of Theater Studies at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.
With her publication "The Economy of the British Stage 1800", Tracy C. Davis managed to affect a change of perspective within the discipline of theater history, including that of the German-speaking community. Alongside her studies on the combination of theater and economic history, she has made a name for herself internationally in the areas of performance theory, European and American theater history, as well as through the development of new research methods.
Tracy C. Davis will be at the CAS as a visiting fellow in Mai 2012 following an invitation from Prof. Dr. Christopher Balme.
