Prof. Mark J. Bruhn, Ph.D.

Mark Bruhn is Professor of English at Regis University in Denver.

His research interests range from British literature of the Middle Ages and English romantic poetry to cognitive linguistics. Mark Bruhn received international acclaim for his release of a special edition of Poetics Today entitled "Exchange Values: Poetics and Cognitive Science". Through his work on the intersection between poetics and cognitive science, Mark Bruhn has established himself in recent years as one of the leading figures in this field.

Mark Bruhn will be at the CAS as a visiting fellow in October 2011 following an invitation from Professor Christoph Bode. He will give a lecture in both the Literature Studies and the Linguistics Colloquia of the Department for English and American Studies.
