Dr. Kozad Ahmed

Kozad Ahmed is Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Sulaimani, Iraq.
His specialty is the study of historical texts about the first states of Kurdistan. He translates Hurrian and Akkadian.
Kozad Ahmed is a Visiting Fellow at CAS in May 2017 upon invitation from Prof. Dr. Adelheid Otto and Prof. Dr. Walther Sallaberger (Senior Researcher in Residence 2016/17). He will participate in the workshop "Feasting and Festivals in Ancient Mesopotamia", on 11 and 12 May 2017.
